An alliance with CAICE Acoustic Air Movement has lead to the development of the new and innovative range of fire rated attenuators, providing noise reduction in ventilation systems.

Traditional methods of fire rating involve coating steel in a flame resistant material or coating applied to the surface of the duct. These methods are often expensive and time consuming.

As assessed and certified by Exova Warringtonfire, the attenuators have sufficient fire-resistance with Flameshield’s fire-rated rectangular galvanised steel forming the casing, rated for temperatures above 300 degrees Celsius, within the scope of its BRE Global BS 476 Part 24 Certification.

Full compatibility with the Flameshield Fireduct is guaranteed.
