Technical Information - Specifiers Guide

All ductwork has been tested to meet the requirements of BS 476 Part 24 and EN 1366 Parts 1 & 8. It incorporates the unique CGF flanging system, which is protected intellectual property and cannot be replicated. It is quality controlled by the PN 111 Factory Production Control procedures, which are subject to third party audits from LPCB BRE.

Identification of the system type

EN 1366 Part 1: Ducts B: EN 1366 Part 1: Ducts B (fire exposure from inside to outside). Ventilation ducts, some passive systems (i.e. natural vents) and kitchen extract.

EN 1366 Part 1: Ducts A: EN 1366 Part 1: Ducts A (fire exposure from outside to inside). Ventilation ducts, some passive systems (i.e. natural vents), kitchen extract and pressurisation systems.

EN 1366 Part 8: Ducts C: EN 1366 Part 8: Ducts C (multi-compartment smoke extract systems).
